Been needing to replace my roof shingles for well over a year. The cost of construction materials has not been going down. So It’s been past due and time to bite the bullet. I received quotes from three “local” contractors. Turns out two of them had been bought out by larger corporations. It was evident that Northwest Construction was owned and operated very much locally. All three quotes I had received were within $1,000 of each other. So I chose solely based on dealing with a true local company. I’m very glad I made the right choice. They had provided convincing arguments to complete a complete tear off of the existing shingles. And looking back and seeing all of the old damaged boards that needed to be replaced that was clearly the best route. Although they had a busy schedule, they were able to work my project in between other larger jobs. Within a couple of weeks they had all of the supplies ordered and dropped off at the house the day before installation. The team of eight installers arrived early to tear off the old shingles. They were very particular about replacing old worn out boards in the process taking about six hours just taking off the old roof and making repairs. Taking about an hour lunch break to cool off from an unusually hot August day, they went straight into installation. Drip edges, vents, under layment, and shingles. They worked non-stop to get 99% of the job complete before the last bit of daylight. The crew leader returned the next day with another worker to finish up detail work and run the magnet around the yard to pick up any errant nails left behind. Everyone involved was kind, courteous, and seemed interested in completing the project properly. Any future projects that I may need done, they will certainly be my first contact.

We are very pleased with our new roof from Northwest! We called SO MANY roofing companies over the last 2 years.. all the most popular ones you can think of we probably got a quote. Northwest by far had the best materials and price. We had one company come out and quote us $7,000 more using the same exact materials they use at Northwest. They all pretend they can lower the price by 1k if you sign RIGHT NOW.. don’t do that. No one at Northwest was pushy like that and it’s just another reason we felt we could trust them. One of our biggest concerns was attic ventilation since we have a bungalow with 3 separate attic areas.. Terry and John really worked with us to explain what made the most sense. I couldn’t believe how fast they came out to start the roof! My husband was concerned about it getting too cold later in October but we knew it would probably be a few weeks before they started.. to our surprise they were here to start within a week from signing the papers! The roof looks amazing and we will be referring anyone who asks, thank you Northwest! 😁

Northwest Construction recently installed a new roof on my home and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, their team was professional and efficient. They clearly communicated the timeline and scope of work, arrived on schedule, and completed the job which turned out fantastic. They took care to protect my property during the teardown of the old roof and even trimmed back a tree that was growing too close to the roof. I especially appreciated their responsiveness to questions and their willingness to explain the process clearly. Also, the quality of the materials used in this project were outstanding. Terry took the time to walk me through the whole roofing system which gives me confidence that our new roof will be able to withstand all the elements. And it looks great! Northwest helped us with a kitchen renovation this spring. Terry, Scott and John came out and helped us plan it and had some great ideas for our kitchen. Scott did an excellent job with his carpentry skills adding a custom pantry cabinet to blend in and installed the new flooring. His attention to detail and expertise with plumbing and electrical brought our kitchen up to code. We used the company they partner with for the Quartz counter top, backsplash and composite sink. It was all installed perfectly. This was our 6th construction job with Northwest and we will hire them again for projects on our home. I like working with Laura in the office as she always answered my questions or had someone contact me right away.

We had NorthWest Construction make repairs and update our front porch, paint the trim along our roofline, and restain our front door. For the porch, we needed 2 columns replaced, a step replaced, and tuck pointing. Terry provided us with great recommendations and he was spot on because the final work looked great! His expert crew of masons and carpenters were able to work with the quirks of our house and make everything look wonderful. His painter worked miracles in restoring the color of our beautiful door and trim. We won’t hesitate calling on NorthWest Construction again for future projects. Thank you Terry and team!

Wanted to share my experience regarding Northwest Construction, located in Dearborn Michigan. I have a residential house in Dearborn that needed vinyl siding and gutters, and I was looking for a contractor that was local, and familiar with the homes in the area. Northwest Construction popped up in a Google search, along with a few others local contractors. I made the call to schedule a quote in person, I reached Terry who was not only very friendly but wanted me to understand that he would be focused on quality and completing the job to the highest possible standard. After receiving multiple quotes, it was clear that Terry and his team were the right contractors for the job. The team at Northwest Construction were clear in the objectives, took the time to plan out the job, correctly bid the job and worked through the challenges during the process. I had a budget that I was working with, and Terry and team did everything possible to stay within the budget as possible. Northwest Construction was clear in communication, they were quick to take on the work, and completed the job within a few weeks once all the material was on site. Terry and his team did an outstanding job bringing this house back to life with a fresh new look! NorthWest Construction is a great company to work with from Terry the owner, to Steve the roofing project manager, to everyone in between. They did on time quality work. Clean up from the roofing tear off was great. Both Terry and Steve explained what was being done, when and how and importantly why it needed to be done that way. I would hire them again on any of their services listed based off the experience I had with them on my roofing/gutter job.

Northwest Construction replaced my roof and corrected the attic ventilation. Terry was very thorough and knowledgeable in explaining what I needed in the attic to avoid having mold again. The installation crew members were efficient. hard working, capable, and careful. They cleaned the area of debris before leaving for the day and my plantings were not disturbed. We called Northwest because of our leaking roof and they came out the next day. The issue was diagnosed and repaired very quickly. Fast, friendly, professional and affordable service. It was great working with them!
